The Pride of Ijebuland
Join millions worldwide in celebrating the 2026 Ojude Oba Festival—a breathtaking showcase of culture, the Regberegbe age-grades, and equestrian excellence.
The Ojude Oba Planning Committee is the official body mandated by the Awujale of Ijebuland to curate, organize, and execute this world-class cultural festival. Our mission is to preserve the cultural identity of the Ijebu people while promoting tourism and community unity.
For 2026, we are focused on "Digital Inclusion," ensuring that no matter where an Ijebu son or daughter is in the world, they can feel the pulse of the festival through our global digital portal.

Originally a Muslim celebration to thank the Awujale for his benevolence, it has evolved into a symbol of religious unity for all Ijebu sons and daughters.
The festival is centered around paying homage to the Paramount Ruler of Ijebuland, reinforcing the traditional administrative structure of the kingdom.
The age-grade system (Regberegbe) was revitalized to foster development and social cohesion across different generations of the Ijebu community.
